The ideal pasture farming feeder for reducing theft by rodents and wild birds! Open the lid to fill with feed, then close tightly. Your free-range chickens and other farmed poultry step on the perch, their body weight triggers a mechanical lever which opens the feeding compartment and allows them to feed. When they are finished, they step off of the perch and the compartment closes again, excluding rodents and wild birds. This model holds 50kg of feed and includes feeding access on both sides, allowing twice as many birds to feed at once when compared to our single sided models.
