Vario Ovo birds are a specialty variety developed by one of our commercial layer breeding partners, and actually consist of three types of bird. These birds will lay blue, green and rich brown eggs as well as lighter variations of all three egg shell colors. Each bird lays the same colour or mild variation of it for its lifetime, but different birds will have different egg colors. Vario Ovo are sold as straight run with no separation of male and female chicks, however a single case of 360 eggs can contain all three varieties, ensuring you get the true "Easter Egger" effect.
